Reuben Heaton Ltd, first unveiled a clock based on its iconic hand build aluminium match scales back in the mid 1990’s. Originally designed as a promotional item for key retailers, the clocks also found favour with anglers. The latest scale clocks are branded Timescale and utilise Reuben Heaton’s current 4000 Series scale components for the basis of their construction including the same high impact polycarbonate body and lens; stainless steel hook and hang point and several smaller components which form part of the current 4000 series design. All Reuben Heaton Timescale clocks are manufactured in the UK at the Market Bosworth facility alongside the 4000 series Standard, Match and Specimen Hunter scales. Prior to unveiling these latest production model Timescale clocks, Reuben Heaton first unveiled a bespoke version of the Timescale scale clock at this years World Carp Classic at Lac de Madine in September 2019 when each competitor received a WCC2019 logoed Timescale clock as a memento of their entry into the event.
Both production model Timescale clocks will be made available to all listed Reuben Heaton retailers from the 1st December 2019. The standard version known as the Heritage Timescale, features a classic clock face with current Reuben Heaton company logo, “Quality and Performance” icon and current version of the Isaac Walton crest that is synonymous with the company. This model is designed to appeal to anglers and non-anglers alike making it the ideal product for any location. The second model is the Specimen Hunter Timescale. This model recreates the original dial design of the first and legendary version of the iconic Specimen Hunter scale complete with pike and carp decals, classic version of the Isaac Walton crest and iconic Specimen Hunter branding. This model is designed to appeal more to the ardent angler and is aimed as a gift for the fisherman who has everything.
Both Timescale clocks feature precise quartz clock movements powered by a single AA battery. The standard Heritage Timescale features a classic ticking movement whilst the Specimen Hunter Timescale features a superior constant sweep style movement. Each Timescale clock comes with full warranty. Batteries are not included.
